Day 16 - Reset

I'm on the right track, I lost another 4 lbs. I'm happy but not satisfied. I felt that I should have lost more. A few days ago I started to do Zumba as well (20 minute express). I feel that I have more energy now and I'm sleeping well but still late.

All in all it has been a great 2 weeks. I'll update you after a week again and see how much I've lost. :)

Obesity as a disease?

These two pictures show body scans of two women approximately the same age and height. The one on the left weighs 113 kg (250 lbs), while the one on the right weighs 54 kg (120 lbs). Accumulated adipose tissue is not the only difference between the two; the obese woman has an enlarged heart and her lungs are somewhat restricted.

There are things also that I'd like to improve:

  1. I want to lessen smoking.
  2. I want to exercise more to maximize my weightloss.
  3. I want to get enough sleep or sleep early.
Just keep posted. I hope that in a way you're learning something and let's all do this together!

Day 5 of Reset

I'm feeling the energy going back. Since I started the reset I didn't eat rice. I mentioned before that I'm doing the MasterCleanse and Southbeach. I'm not reallly that strict to myself so that I won't end up spiraling back to my habits.

Anyway, It's day 5 and I'm excited to weight on the 7th day, 2 more days to go. I wonder if, I lost weight.

Here are the rules that I follow and it always worked for me:

Reset (Day 2)

It's been 6 years since I started this blog to help me lose weight. Unfortunately I'm back to where I started. many things have happened why I'm back to this state. But there's no point in going back and blame myself for not losing all that weight.

A month ago I got my sickness back, I'm hyper acidic and was rushed to the hospital. There I found out that I'm also hypertensive that's why they gave me maintenance medicine. After that I went back to my old ways eating and and did not exercise. I felt sluggish, I don't want to wake up from bed. Insomnia.

I realize that this is not how it's going to end. I'm not giving up. I'm ashamed but I must face this. So 2 days ago I bought a reliable weighing scale. The BIG one so that I can get the accurate information.

Trouble Sleeping?

I have this problem for the longest time. The first thing I can think of is drink warm milk ... heard it many times. But the thing is I'm not a milk drinker. So what I did was to ask the oracle ... hahaha. Seriously I consulted Google the all knowing and found this tips.

Hope this helps someone like me who has trouble sleeping.

cat Before going to bed, stretch out. The day’s tensions are held in your body, so a gentle, relaxing stretching session – even a brief one – can do you a world of good.

Oh Raymond

I know this is old news but I admire how Raymond Gutierrez has lost all that weight. I told my friend about it and told me "Ikaw ba naman ang bayaran para magpapayat eh di ka ba naman liliit".

Paid or Not, Raymond still has the discipline to lose all that fat. I hope I'm next.

Note: You might be noticing me, saying "I hope" a lot. I don't want to make a bold statement and then fail again. I'll just do it one step at a time until I get my groove back.

Site Redesign.

The blog is about 6 years and I never had the chance to design it. I felt that I need to do this so that I could go back.

It's funny that I'm a web designer but I can't assemble a good blog.

I cannot promise that I would be able to constantly update the blog. I feel ashamed that in the past 6 years I still haven't reach my goal yet. But anyway, It's a continuous battle. I hope this time I would would win.

Only hoping. Wish me luck! :)

Thanks for the visitors of the site. I added some features so that you could enjoy your stay.
