Hypertension: 6 Good Habits to Lower Your High Blood Pressure

I got 2 out of the 6. I don't use salt very much and don't drink sodas. I have to increase my exercise, lessen smoking until i quit, balance diet and less STRESS.

How bout you? How's your blood pressure?

Here are 6 good habits to cultivate:

#1. Reduce your sodium intake:

We have been taught for generations that a table is not properly set unless there is a cruet set. The mustard pot might be empty, but never the salt and pepper cellars! We need to unlearn the habit of adding salt to our food at the table. It is generally accepted that we get enough naturally occurring sodium in our diet without the use of salt. If more is needed it can be added at the cooking stage. Adding more salt at the table will cause our blood pressure to spike to alarming levels.

Mark Munoz shows off slimmed down physique for UFC 162 after ‘turning to food for comfort’ (From 261 to 199)

Last summer, Mark Munoz was knocked out by Chris Weidman. Then he had to recover from a foot injury sustained while training for the Weidman bout. It was a rough turn of events for a fighter who had title shot hopes and who had been on a four-bout winning streak.

Day 16 - Reset

I'm on the right track, I lost another 4 lbs. I'm happy but not satisfied. I felt that I should have lost more. A few days ago I started to do Zumba as well (20 minute express). I feel that I have more energy now and I'm sleeping well but still late.

All in all it has been a great 2 weeks. I'll update you after a week again and see how much I've lost. :)

Obesity as a disease?

These two pictures show body scans of two women approximately the same age and height. The one on the left weighs 113 kg (250 lbs), while the one on the right weighs 54 kg (120 lbs). Accumulated adipose tissue is not the only difference between the two; the obese woman has an enlarged heart and her lungs are somewhat restricted.

  3. I want to get enough sleep or sleep early.
Just keep posted. I hope that in a way you're learning something and let's all do this together!

Day 5 of Reset

I'm feeling the energy going back. Since I started the reset I didn't eat rice. I mentioned before that I'm doing the MasterCleanse and Southbeach. I'm not reallly that strict to myself so that I won't end up spiraling back to my habits.

Anyway, It's day 5 and I'm excited to weight on the 7th day, 2 more days to go. I wonder if, I lost weight.

Here are the rules that I follow and it always worked for me:

Reset (Day 2)

It's been 6 years since I started this blog to help me lose weight. Unfortunately I'm back to where I started. many things have happened why I'm back to this state. But there's no point in going back and blame myself for not losing all that weight.

A month ago I got my sickness back, I'm hyper acidic and was rushed to the hospital. There I found out that I'm also hypertensive that's why they gave me maintenance medicine. After that I went back to my old ways eating and and did not exercise. I felt sluggish, I don't want to wake up from bed. Insomnia.

I realize that this is not how it's going to end. I'm not giving up. I'm ashamed but I must face this. So 2 days ago I bought a reliable weighing scale. The BIG one so that I can get the accurate information.
